Swing into Spring with Hunter Gatherer’s New Seasonal Menu


Spring is in the air and we’re celebrating with a new seasonal menu at Hunter Gatherer. As the weather improves, we’re excited to bring more delicious and fresh ingredients from our farms to your plate. For this season’s menu, we’re introducing new options to our classic Hunter Gatherer bowl, as well as a new pasta dish. Bright and refreshing flavors are a major theme in these colorful dishes. Southeast Asian cuisine provided inspiration for many menu items and you’ll find the versatile, early spring-crop cauliflower pop up throughout.


BASE: Cauli-“Rice” (vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free)

The delicious and low-carb Cauli-“Rice” is perfect for paleo diets. The fluffy grated cauliflower florets are mixed with bits of broccoli and infused with flavor from the garlic, shallots, salt, and parsley. Smoked almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds add a crunchy texture and heart-healthy fats.

Brown rice with goji berries is a simple pairing that goes a long way for your health. Both ingredients are nutritionally dense; the slightly nutty brown rice is balanced by the light sweetness of goji berries.

VEGETABLES: Stewed Pineapple & Veggies (vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free)

Vegetables should never be boring. The 100% vegetarian and gluten-free Stewed Pineapples & Veggies combines the sweetness of pineapples with the earthy richness of tomatoes, eggplants, green squash, red bell peppers, and the crunch of cashews for a mouthwatering taste.

PROTEIN: Sweet-Thai BBQ Meatballs (dairy-free)

Our Sweet-Thai BBQ Meatballs are a sweet and savory match made in heaven. Perfectly seasoned ground beef is formed into meatballs, then browned and cooked with a Thai-inspired sweet and spicy BBQ sauce.

SOUP: White Velvet Cauli-Soup with Scallion Kimchi (gluten-free, dairy-free)

Like its name implies, the White Velvet Cauli-Soup with Scallion Kimchi is marked by its velvety smooth texture that, despite its richness, is 100% dairy free. The secret is the blend of almond milk and cauliflower that’s given a spicy and unforgettable jolt of flavor from chili flakes, fish sauce, rice vinegar, sesame, and ginger.

Our Mala Peanut Riso-Thai merges the best of two worlds: complex Thai flavors and Italy’s famous risotto. Mala peanut butter adds richness to the creamy melt-in-your-mouth risotto, while lemongrass and Kaffir Lime Leaf add bright flavor notes. Small shrimp, chopped peanuts, and colorful vegetables complete this vibrant dish.
