HG’s Holiday Hours for a Happy Chinese New Year

It’s that time of year again—Chinese New Year is almost here! Whether you’re taking your holiday to the road or staying put in Shanghai, we’re happy to announce that Hunter Gatherer will be here to satisfy all your Real Food needs.

We will be open throughout the holiday, from January 27 to February 2, with limited hours and closures varying across locations.

Hunter Gatherer IFC Pudong: Open every day 10:00 – 14:00.
L4-21, IFC mall, 8 Central Avenue, Shanghai

Hunter Gatherer Anfu: Closed for three days starting Chinese New Year’s Eve (1/27). Reopens Monday, January 30 to Thursday, February 2, opening hours 10:00 – 20:00.

Hunter Gatherer Hubindao: Open every day. Closes early at 18:00 on Chinese New Year’s Eve (1/27). Limited hours of 13:00 – 20:00 from January 28 to January 30. Normal hours of 10:00 – 22:00 resume Tuesday, January 31.

Hunter Gatherer is turning up the heat this winter with a hot new menu of grilled meats, burgers, and juicy roasts. We’re very excited to introduce our new burgers: the ‘Hunter’ beef burger made with a blend of grass-fed chuck, skirt, and sirloin—a rare and high-quality find for burgers—and the ‘Gatherer’ veggie burger that’s so savory and delicious you won’t miss the meat. We also have a new ‘To Share’ category with larger portions perfect for a dinner shared with friends. All Grill & Carvery options come with side dishes (smashed potato with smoky barbecue sauce and mixed green salad) and can be enjoyed at Hubindao and our new IFC Pudong location.

Made with grass-fed beef chuck, skirt, and sirloin, the Hunter Burger is a cut above the typical burger. The grilled beef is topped with a spread of avocado cream, carrot cumin mustard, crispy butter lettuce, and melted cheddar cheese, and sandwiched between a housemade brioche bun. The burger is served with sides of smashed potatoes and mixed green salad.

Savory and full of flavor, the Gatherer Burger is a veggie burger that even meat lovers will crave. The roasted eggplant and parmesan patty is topped with a crunchy parmesan crisp, carrot cumin mustard, and crisp butter lettuce, and sandwiched between a housemade brioche bun. The burger is served with sides of smashed potatoes and mixed green salad.
